I was born and grow up in Florence, where I actually live and work. Class April 1972.

My photographic activity has began at the end of a decade, spent as musician - guitar player - in an alternative Florentine band.
In the beginning of 2001, my desire was to "rewrite the rules" of my creative processes and to renew my artistic mood. I was searching also for a new form of art with specifical expressive and technical skills that could be all "brand new" for me, with the specific mean of a sort of a personal artistic challenge. During the summertine of the same year, as I had to go to Prague, I decided to buy my first 35mm film camera for trying to immortalize the beauty of the splendid checz city. It was "love at first sight" with that unknown and "obscure" object called reflex camera. From that moment on I express myself throughout photography, an irreplaceable and fundamental way of communication for me and without it I should not be able to share with others what I see, feel and think about life and all the things that surround me. Photography is a sort of "universal dictionary" for me and goes far beyond of all language and cultural barriers, allowing me to "speak" with images without the need of words.

"Foemina" is a photographic project that was born almost five years ago with the intent to portrait the beauty, the sensuality, the charme and the eros that are inside and out of woman. So pictures in perpetual evolution come to life, from glamour to lingerie shots, up till to the free intimacy of the nude ones. I also love to combine and mix the "Foemina" shooting with aesthetic of evocative decadent places, in turn immortalized in an another project of industrial archeology and visual memory called "Arkeo".

"Arkeo" is a transfigured and rielaborated voyage for the visual spread of the beauty and memory of ruins and echoes of a forgotten civilized and working world. Architectural and historical marvels from our past are portraited here, like old noble mansions, historical furnaces, industries of the beginning of the last century and vast abandoned insane asylums.
